Rhymes in a Nutshell

I’ve enjoyed reading and writing micropoems on Twitter for several years, so I decided to build a micropoetry category into this blog where I can post and archive the Twittery little rhymes I write.

These tweetable poems of 280 characters or fewer are intended to be easily digestible and straight to the point. After all, brevity is the soul of wit, right?

Occasionally, a microrhyme will inspire, or evolve into, a longer poem that ends up in my Online Poetry Collection or in one of my books.

Mostly, though, they’ll just be concise topical verses and random poetic ditties that gather here, having hopefully glimmered briefly on social media.

Read some micropoems and let me know what you think.
